Quality: 3 out of 5
Packaging 5 out ot 5
Size: 1 fl ounce
Price: $10
Where to buy: Avon.com

PROS:
-it has SPF 20
-it fills in pores, makes them appear slightly smaller
-makes foundation stay on longer
-doesn't made me break out

CONS:
-the smell might bug some people
-it doesn't do enough to control oil for me, but I know its worked better in that area for others
-when first applying foundation it slips around a bit, this just means I have to blend a little more, no big deal

Smell: It does have a slight fruit gone bad smell, but its quite faint and I don't even notice it.

Texture: Its got a strange gel/powder feel. I don't know how it manages to be both at the same time but its not bad.

Oil Control: I don't think it does a whole lot for me in that area. There may be some difference, but not enough for me to be thrilled or anything.

Pores: Without foundation it doesn't look as if it makes any difference at all on the size of my pores, but when I put foundation on they look less deep and a little smaller. Thats a big plus for me because my pores are huge.

Review: LA Color Glittering Starlet Palette

Quality: 2 out of 5
Packaging: 5 out of 5
Price: $4
Where to buy: Cherryculture.com & NonPareilBoutique.com

I wanted to like this so bad. The colors are gorgeous, and they actually are very pigmented but the horrible glitter ruins them. The glitter comes in huge ugly chunks that don't stick to your eyelid but stick all over the face. It really just makes it so the eye shadows are not usable.

PROS:
-the colors are pretty

CONS:
-the glitter is huge and ugly, therefor making the pretty colors impossible to work with

Halloween Look: Cheetah

Hopefully this will all make sense. If not the tutorial is below.

FACE: to make the pigment stick I used plain ol' face Moisturizer
Charlotte Russe Mineral's Java trio, bottom color (along hair line, from eyebrows to the bottom of my ear)
Charlotte Russe Minera's Java trio, top color (along hair line, above eyebrow going down to my jaw bone)
NYX ultra pearl mania Nude (over eyebrow & forehead, down the middle of my cheeks, to about an inch away from the middle of my chin)
SPOTS were done with Smashbox's black cream liner and Posh's smaller e/l brush

^ all that was blended together and applied with an angled blush brush

Eyes: UDPP
NYX upm Nude (all over lid & brown bone)
WnW Mega Shimmer Dust (inner corners & along lower lashes)
Smashbox black cream liner (lining top & bottom lashes)
random gold e/l (waterline)
Halloween eye lashes from Longs Drugs

Lips: NYX Mars l/s

My inspiration, isn't he/she gorgeous?

And the tutorial...

More Halloween looks will come later!

Haul: POSH & Halloween False Lashes

At Longs this week they have 25% off all brushes (including POSH & Eco Tools) and all false lashes. Right now they have a TON of adorable Halloween lashes. I wanted to get so many!

I got the POSH kabuki brush. It is reg. $12.99 but was $9.74 on sale. They also had other face brushes, the mini foundation & eye brushes travel set, and a big set with the full size Powder, Foundation, Angled Blush, Eye, Small Kabuki, and a red round cosmetic case. I don't know how much it was because the price wasn't listed on the box or shelf.

Also I got these adorable lashes. I'm going to use them in a Cheetah look (the youtube tutorial will probably come out this week). They had a bunch of other ones, I wanted them all but only got one because again the price wasn't listed. On sale it came out to $4.42 so I'm guessing full price these were around $6.

NYX Round Lipstick Swatches

I finally did the swatches of NYX lipsticks I got. I didn't do the round lip glosses yet, but those will come soon.

Notes: Paris looks like a darkish pink but goes on much lighter, Narcissus is seriously brighter then bubble gum pink, I tried to edit the color in photoshop but they didn't even have it. Everything else is pretty much spot on except Margerita is a little bit lighter.

CherryCulture NYX Lip Haul!

I got my CherryCulture haul yesterday, I am in love with all the colors. Best $12 I ever spent!

7 NYX round lipsticks, 2 round lip glosses.
Tomorrow if I am feeling energized I will do swatches and on-lip pics.

Wild Orchid and Doll Pink
they do smell like lemon air freshner, but I don't mind it and the texture is lovely. I will definitely get more colors.
